Teachers day Programmes

Government College of Teacher Education, Thycaud, in coordination with IQAC and College Union, organized Teacher’s Day Celebration on 5 September 2021 from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm through Google Platform. Dr S. Sreedevi, Former Principal of G.C.T.E, graced the programme with her special presence as the chief guest. The official programme began with an enchanting prayer by Haripriya, First Year B Ed student, followed by a recorded welcome dance dedication by First Year M Ed students. Dr. S. Joly, HOD, Malayalam Department, G.C.T.E, welcomed the gathering. The programme was hosted under the guidance of Dr Jayasree T K, principal G.C.T.E, who delivered the presidential address. Dr V K Sobha, Vice- Principal, G.C.T.E, Dr K Santhosh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, Sr. Sajini, First Year B Ed Student and Reji O, First Year M.Ed student conveyed the felicitation speech.

Dr A V Sujith, Rahul V.R, Academic Coordinator and Dr Issac Paul, HOD, Commerce Department conveyed their teacher’s day messages to the audience. The official programme was followed by cultural programmes. Anju, First Year M.Ed student performed her song dedication for the teachers. The students of First Year M.Ed prepared a video dedication for the teachers conveying their teacher’s day greetings. First Year B.Ed students prepared a video mashup combining the Teacher’s Day wishes as a gift of gratitude to the teachers. The former students of G.C.T.E, addressed the gathering sharing their inspiring experiences and expressing their gratitude to the teachers. Araj M R, First Year M.Ed student, presented the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by students from B.Ed, M.Ed, along with other esteemed faculty members of the G.C.T.E Family. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
